Introduction. Kentwell is a moated hall set in mid-16th-century gardens of 6.5 hectares. The surrounding 52-hectare parkland was developed in the 17th and 18th centuries. The gardens feature several separate areas including a 17th-century walled garden, shrubbery, sunken garden and clipped yews, some of which are over 15 metres tall.
