Some scratch building in the engine compartment. Radio is from a Tamiya kit. Personal equipment is from another Dragon kit. The headphone and microphone is from Royal Model.

Regarding the actual truck the Opel Blitz "S" model was created in 1936 and in 1937 entered full production with a 3.7 liter six-cylinder engine of 75 HP. It was the largest of three models with similar appearances and designs (1, 1.5 and 3 ton capacity) and was built with both 4x2 (from 1936 to 1944) and 4x4 (from 1938 to 1944) configurations.

The Blitz name was first applied to an Opel truck in 1930 and by 1934 there were four base versions offered of the 1 tonne model along with fourteen versions of the larger 2/2½ tonne trucks. The subject of this kit is the 3 tonne version.. As usual, the Dragon instructions are superbly drawn and quite complete. Less crowded than one often.

Mar 05, 2021 #1 Hi A long job to finish, enhanced. Lots of final tweaks, the 2 door handle types are very delicate! Stretchers up-graded, blankets and internal stowage improved, Jerrican in rack added, roof rack load added to, charts on doors, per some pics. Red Crosses by me. Cab doors have to be left partially open, sadly a tad too tight.
